Job Description

Reporting to: Senior Vice President
Location: Mumbai
Age: Upto 42 years.
Education: MBA in marketing with graduation in Engineering / Science

Essential: Chemical industries specifically in Solvents.  

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop new markets, new customers in existing market for current products and customers for new products, including developing new distributors and channel partners.
  • Generate enquiries, submit offers, negotiate and finalize the order bookings.
  • Maintain and manage sales and customer relationship with the existing and new customers across the continents in the international markets.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of potential customers in new territories and industry segments.
  • Keep constant update of the developments in the markets with the customers and competition and collect regular market intelligence.
  • Formulate sales strategy, plan annual budget, and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales and collection targets.
  • Explore and identify the opportunities for improvement in margins and growth in business.
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams like Supply Chain and Planning, Production, Finance, R&D for managing the customer requirements and expectations.
  • Handling technical queries and complaints from customers by working with the Quality Assurance team.
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to clients on formulations and applications that require assistance.
  • Handle large customer base spread across all the continents around the globe.
