Job Description

Primary Purpose of the Job: 

  • To Manage Sales of various Products, either locally supplied or directly imported, to select accounts, both national and Regional, under the supervision of 

Sales  Manager: This job is intended to support the Sales Manager in handling Strategic Accounts and also provides the incumbent the opportunity to handle directly a few non-strategic accounts independently.  

Description :

  1. Build and manage relationships with the customer through regular visits, Communications and Presentations. 
  2. Implement and fine tune individual A/C strategies.
  3. Assist the Sales Manager in identifying and canvassing opportunities for local sales/direct imports.
  4. Support in implementing Pricing strategies and managing the credit policy for the accounts responsible  
  5. Assist the Sales Manager in managing local and global tender business and coordinate with Regional Account Manager.
  6. Ensure that all committed customer requirements are fully met and technical support is provided.
  7. Provide Account-wise inputs and assist in Business Planning and sales forecasting.  
  8. Maintain and update Customer data bases, obtain Market Intelligence.

Qualification :  B.E/B.TECH ( Automobile/Mechanical/Chemical)

Experience: About 6 -8 years of actual hands-on account handling experience working in Sales/Customer Service functions, out of which at least 5 years is related to lubes/additives.
