• Tamil speaking is mandatory.
• Responsible for financial controls, preparation of accounts and analysis of financial performance for the division.
• The person would be responsible for 1 plant and sales offices.

Key Deliverable:
Divisional Accounting Management:
Monitoring division’s financial performance through MIS Reports and CBE (Current Business Estimate)
 Monitoring product costing and identify ways to curb the high cost drivers.
 Managing closure of books of accounts at required frequencies and providing data for taxation (GST).
 Enabling efficient working capital management through proper revenue collection.
 Managing adherence to credit limits for dues and minimizing procurement costs.

2. Financial Analysis and Controls:
 Managing the quarterly and annual audits.
 Monitoring inventory management at plant level and the ageing of products.
 Preparing the annual budget and analyze past performance as per previous budget.
 Ensuring Internal Controls operate effectively

3. General Management:
 Identifying opportunities for cost optimization, and highlighting deviations from budget in time.
 Lead the finance team at division, and enable their performance through development and feedback.

Position Requirements:
1. ICWAI/CA certification required.
2. 8+ years of experience in manufacturing industry required.
3. Understanding of the dairy industry, credit period and related statutory compliance of the industry.

4. Excellent people management skills required.
5. Experience in dairy/food processing industry preferred.
6. Experience in leading a team required.

Job Description

• Managing all finance and accounting operations
• Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary

Skills required:

• Proven working experience as a Financial controller
• 9+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
• A Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skill.
